Stinchfield Environmental & Experiential Scholarship Award Application
Applications are now being accepted for the Stinchfield Environmental & Experiential Scholarship Award Application for rising Grades 10 - 12 students.
In 1996, we lost our dear friend Frank Stinchfield '94 in a tragic accident at Indian Sands, Ore. Many of us felt a special bond with Frank; he was among our best friends and was always there to lend a hand, to get you laughing, to comfort you, to challenge you to do your best. He was passionate about the outdoors and the environment. He harnessed the wind with his kites, picked up litter, and loved to ride his bikes on the paved roads and country trails of Virginia.
This scholarship award aims to assist one rising Grades 10 - 12 student with promise in environmental studies and stewardship an opportunity to continue their work. Students with interest in participating in an environmental or experiential learning experience program this summer should apply below. The award may cover up to $2,500 of program fees.
