These events are designed to give families the opportunity to unplug from today’s distractions and connect through interactive and fun activities. Events will take place on evenings through the winter and early spring from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., and are open to current and prospective families. All events are free, but registration is required. Jan. 28 - PS - Grade 2 Lego Night
Pre-School through Grade 2 students and their parents/guardians are invited to build, create, and explore on International Lego Day. Put your thinking caps on and start building! A grilled cheese and tomato soup dinner will also be served.
Feb. 7 - Grades K - 4 Makerspace Night
Time to start making! Grades K - 4 students and parents/guardians will create tech projects with Learning Village Coordinator of Computer Coding Instruction & Initiatives Kim Wilkens. Includes a pizza and salad dinner with dessert.
March 14 - Grades K - 4 Math Game Night
What's better than math and pie?! Math teacher Becky Malin will host Grades K - 4 students and parents/guardians in celebration of Pi Day (3.14) with fun math games, pizza pie dinner, and of course, pie for dessert!
April 23 - PS - Grade 4 Family Book Night
Throw on a pair of pajamas and curl up with a new read or old favorite book in honor of World Book Day with Learning Village Librarian Sarah FitzHenry. Pre-School through Grade 4 students and parents/guardians are invited, and a grilled cheese and tomato soup dinner will be served.
Please note, parents must be present with children throughout the event, all materials will be provided.
