School Hosting April 6 Viewing of Screenagers

St. Anne's-Belfield School will host a public viewing of physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston's Screenagers on Thursday, April 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the Greenway Rise Auditorium.

According to the film's website, "In Screenagers, as with her award-winning documentaries on mental health, Delaney takes a deeply personal approach as she probes into the vulnerable corners of family life, including her own, to explore struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. Through poignant, and unexpectedly funny stories, along with surprising insights from authors, psychologists, and brain scientists, Screenagers reveals how tech time impacts kids' development and offers solutions on how adults can empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance."

Following the viewing, there will be a question-and-answer session with an expert panel including School parent and cybersecurity expert Rob Atherton, School parent, alumna, and pediatrician Dr. Paige Perriello '90, and members of the Upper School Peer Mentors group.

Tickets to this event are free, but must be reserved by April 5.
