A Cappella Fest Hosts Note-Worthy Performances

St. Anne's-Belfield School hosted area high school a cappella groups for a day of learning and collaboration on March 23. As part of the annual A Cappella Fest, the students from St. Anne's-Belfield School, Albemarle County High School, and Culpeper High School were joined by U.Va.'s Sil'hooettes and Academical Village People for a public concert. Dr. Tucker Biddlecombe from Vanderbilt University served as the guest clinician.

"A Cappella Fest is a great tradition for the School and Charlottesville community," said Upper School music director Will Nichols. "Not only do our students learn from each other and a variety of mentors, but the concert is a great, family-friendly way to enjoy this distinct form of music."

More photos from the event are now available on the School's SmugMug account.
