In honor of World Physical Activity Day (April 6), the School hosted PE Night on April 9 as a part of the FamilyFest event series. Physical Education Department Chair Brad Connors used Facebook Live to teach more than 500 viewers "sock bocce." You can watch a recording of the directions here
is a series of interactive programs that provide opportunities for families to come together to create, learn, and play. PE Night was open to all children in Pre-School - Grade 8.
"FamilyFest nights are always a time of great connection and family fun, and I'm so glad we are able to offer them online this spring," said Stacey Gearhart, assistant head of the Learning Village for student life PS - Grade 4 and coordinator of FamilyFest.
"We always try to vary our activities so that there is something to appeal to everyone, and I'm thankful that even in this time of distancing we have opportunities like this to come together."
