COVID-19 & School Updates

The School continues to closely monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. In light of recent updates, the School has decided to take the following steps to ensure the health, safety, and well being of our students and faculty while delivering a superb educational experience:

  • Campuses will be closed and all School activities and events are cancelled through April 3
  • A distance learning program for all students utilizing online technology in age-appropriate ways will be implemented from March 23 - April 3
  • The Upper School dorms will be closed for the remainder of the year
  • Doug's Trip for our ninth grade students has been cancelled

The School will continue to monitor events and reassess the closure decision as April 3 approaches. If there is a need to extend the closure and continue with distance learning, we will let the School community know as soon as possible. Until that time, both campuses will be closed for all activities, including no access to athletic fields and facilities and/or playgrounds.

Please note, some news outlets are reporting that there is a "presumptive positive" case in our School community. This is incorrect. There is a potential case of COVID-19 in the community, but no test has been carried out and therefore no assessment of "presumptive positive" may be made.
