Global Engagement

In a world full of global connections, St. Anne's-Belfield School is dedicated to providing each student the opportunity to experience other cultures and ways of life.

Below are just a few ways the School is engaging with our global community:

  • Global Travel: The School organizes multiple international trips a year, offering students the opportunity to see and experience other parts of the world.
     
  • Spanish Exchange Program: In the past, the School has hosted exchange students from Spain for a week and a half where they sat in on classes, went on field trips, and bonded with host families. Similarly, St. Anne's-Belfield students have traveled to Spain for cultural immersion.
     
  • World Languages: World Languages are taught to nearly every child at St. Anne's-Belfield, and are often integrated into other areas of the curriculum and School life, including Morning Meetings being held in Spanish.
     
  • Curricular Integration: Classes often reach beyond school and country boundaries, offering students the opportunity to learn from peers in other parts of the world. Past projects have including pen pals with students in Paraguay, interviewing immigrants, and performances from global acts.
     
  • Residential Life: Our boarding program is integral to the School’s ability to provide a world-class education to all students, rich with a diversity of culture, thought, interests, experiences, and goals. The Residential Life Program is home to more than 80 students from many countries.
     
  • Summer ELL Camp: The Summer English Language Learners (ELL) Camp is designed to provide students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in American culture while improving their English skills.
     
  • Asia-Pacific Innovation Center: Founded by two School alumni, the Asia-Pacific Innovation Center supports outreach and programming initiatives in Asia intended to better serve the School’s international community.
     
  • International Alumni Network: The School currently has 3,800 alumni in 37 countries around the world. Alumni often have the opportunity to interact and share their perspective with current students.
