Endowments, Planned Giving, 1910 Society

Endowed and planned gifts provide opportunities for donors who wish to make an enduring impact on the School. Endowed and planned gifts touch many aspects of student life by providing funds for scholarships, athletics, arts, student travel, operational support, and more.

1910 Society

The 1910 Society was founded in 2007 to recognize those benefactors who have named St. Anne's-Belfield School in their estate plans. The members of the 1910 Society - alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends - understand their support will have a great impact on the future of our students, faculty and School.

Make a Meaningful Gift to St. Anne's-Belfield School Before December 31

If you're 73 or older and required to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your IRA, there's a smart way to use those funds to make a difference at St. Anne’s-Belfield.

By making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to a qualified nonprofit like ours, you can:

  • Satisfy your RMD for the year
  • Reduce your taxable income
  • Support St. Anne’s in a powerful, tax-wise way

How it Works

You can give up to $100,000 per year directly from your IRA to a qualified charity without including the distribution in your taxable income. This direct transfer must be completed by December 31 to count toward this year’s RMD.

Benefits to You

  • No need to itemize deductions
  • Lower your taxable income
  • Make a high-impact gift at no additional cost to you
  • Fulfill your RMD requirement in a meaningful way

Ready to Give?

Talk to your IRA administrator or financial advisor today to arrange a Qualified Charitable Distribution. Be sure to request the check be made payable directly to St. Anne’s-Belfield School and postmarked by December 31 to qualify for this year’s RMD.
