Meet the Advancement Team

Pam Winthrop, Chief Advancement Officer

Pamela E. Winthrop is a seasoned fundraiser with more than 25 years of experience working in independent schools in the United States and Denmark. Pam’s expertise ranges from capital campaign strategy and management, major gifts, annual giving, alumni relations, and fundraising events. She thrives on a steady diet of capital campaigns and building a culture of philanthropy where it hasn’t existed previously. 

Josh Mccoy, director of development

A graduate of Florida State University with a concentration in Economics and Political Science, Josh McCoy has led fundraising efforts for the University of Florida, the University of Oregon, Mary Baldwin University, the University of Texas at El Paso, and The Galapagos Conservancy. He currently serves on the board of the American Shakespeare Center in Staunton, VA. 

Anni Quinn '12, P. '41, Director of Alumni and family engagement

Anni Quinn joined the Advancement Office in July 2023 as the new Director of Alumni and Family Engagement. As a fourth-generation alumna, member of the School’s Development Committee, former intern in the Advancement Office, Alumni Class Ambassador, and a highly committed and enthusiastic alumna, Anni brings a deep connection to and love for the St. Anne’s-Belfield community.

Carrie boyd, P. '30, director of advancement services

Carrie Boyd joined the School’s Development team in 2019 following eight years of previous experience in post-secondary education including in admissions, residential life, and development. Carrie received both bachelor's and master's degrees from Mary Baldwin, and recently received a higher education assessment specialist graduate certificate from James Madison University.

Elizabeth Holt, P. '39 & '41, Special Events and Stewardship Manager

We are thrilled to have Elizabeth's expertise in cultivating strategic partnerships and curating events for technology startups on our Advancement team. "My family and I were thrilled to join the St. Anne's community!" Says Elizabeth "I appreciate the student's genuine enthusiasm for learning and the value they place on their community. The many accounts I’ve heard from students of their favorite coursework and activities underscores their engagement and deep respect for their teachers."

Lindsey Paynter, p. '36, Director of Annual Giving

Lindsey Paynter joins the Advancement team with extensive experience and a proven track record in developing multi-year annual giving strategies at UVA. Lindsey's expertise has been instrumental in expanding teams and increasing alumni participation. Her dedication to excellence and innovation, commitment to education, and passion for building meaningful relationships make her a perfect fit for the Saints.

Rachael Monfredi, P. '34 & '36, Advancement Associate

Originally from the U.K., she qualified as a lawyer in 2003 and spent a decade advising employers on HR-related matters. She later transitioned in-house, serving as group HR director at Swansway in Crewe, England, where she led the company's HR strategy and contributed to broader business planning. Rachael has been focused on raising her two daughters since moving to the U.S. with her husband in 2017. Now, after successfully navigating the U.S. green card process, she (and we!) are excited to welcome her back to the workforce. Rachael’s expertise and perspective will be valuable additions to the Advancement team as she helps run and improve business processes in service to the School’s strategic development and constituent engagement priorities.
