General Overview

Saints After School at St. Anne’s-Belfield provides a supportive and engaging supervised environment for K – 8 students, operating daily from 2:45 p.m. (for Middle School) and 3:15 p.m. (for Lower School) to 5:30 p.m. Our teachers are experienced and enthusiastic about working with children. The program includes outdoor play, snack, indoor individual activities, and homework time for older students.

• Saints After School will be operational the first day of school and each day thereafter on which regular classes meet.
   
• Daily drop ins are $30 per day per child, and invoices are sent through ProCare Connect on the Monday following attendance. If you wish to sign up for a yearly rate, contracts are available through the business office.
   
• Starting at dismissal, we enjoy outdoor play. SAS has distinct K – 4 and 5 – 8 play spaces in addition to a shared group basketball court and playground structure.
   
• At 4:15 p.m., our group enjoys an outdoor school-provided snack of a fruit and a grain.
   
• At 4:30 p.m., our group separates into K – 4 and 5 – 8 for the indoor portion of the afternoon.
   
• The K – 4 indoor space is the 1/2 commons, with pickup at the K – 4 entrance. The 5 – 8 indoor space is the Legner Library, with pickup at the K – 4 entrance.

How To Sign Up

Families who are new to the School should reach out to SAS@stab.org and mrakes@stab.org to make sure their billing through Veracross is set up before the start of school.

Returning after school care families already have accounts. Veracross serves as our internal billing and attendance system.

Scheduling is based on your selections at the time you enrolled/re-enrolled to the School:

• If you selected an annual contract or are an employee of the school, your child will be reserved a spot for each day at SAS.
   
• If you selected you would like to pay at the drop-in rate of $30/day and you would like to set up a recurring weekly schedule, please contact SAS@stab.org in late July or first week of August to have your child added to the weekly roster.
   
• If you selected you would like to pay at the drop-in rate of $30/day and would like to set up an occasional or day-of drop-in at any point during the year, please contact SAS@stab.org as much in advance as possible to discuss scheduling for that date, as attendance numbers change daily and day-of drop-in spots are limited or may not be available. 

Please ensure that your child’s homeroom teacher or advisor knows their dismissal plan for the day and communicate with them if changes occur. 

Arrival

• 2:45 p.m.: Grades 7 & 8 students are dismissed to the 5/6 Commons.
• 3:15 p.m.: Lower School students (Grades K – 4) will be dismissed from their homeroom and guided to the K – 4 playground. Grades 7 & 8 will join Grades K – 4 on the playground.
• 3:35 p.m.: Grades 5 – 6 students will be dismissed from class and directed to the K – 4 playground
• 4:10 p.m.: Grades 7 – 8 students will join Saints After School following their physical activity.

Dismissal

Authorized adults may pick up students anytime between 2:45 and 5:30 p.m. Last call for dismissal is at 5:30 p.m. — past that, a charge of $1/minute will apply.

We use PikMyKid for dismissal facilitation.

• More information about PikMyKid will be shared in August.
• Once you arrive to pick up your child, click that you have arrived in the app and we will guide your child to their designated dismissal location.

• Please wait at the Main K – 4 Entrance pickup circle.

Our General Schedule Is As Follows:

2:45 – 4:15 p.m. Arrival and outdoor play

4:15 – 4:30 p.m. Snack provided by the School

4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Student individual indoor play choice and homework time
