Early Childhood Fellows

Do you know a recent college graduate who wants to be a teacher of the youngest students? Please encourage them to apply for an Early Childhood Fellowship!

St. Anne’s-Belfield School is seeking two talented, recent college graduates to join our Early Childhood Fellowship Program. These future educators believe that having great teachers from the start is essential to preparing students to become strong in body, broad of mind, tender of heart, and responsive in soul. During this two-year program, Fellows receive support for earning their master of education degree at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Education and Human Development while gaining immersive experience as full-time teaching assistants at St. Anne’s-Belfield School.

Fellows receive:

  • Full tuition and fees for a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum & Instruction with a Social Emotional Learning Area of Emphasis. You must apply separately and be accepted to UVA.
  • Salary, benefits, and housing stipend.
  • Two years of immersive experience as a teaching assistant in the St. Anne’s-Belfield Lower School, located just 2.5 miles from the UVA School of Education in Charlottesville, Va.
  • Mentorship by experienced early childhood faculty at St. Anne’s-Belfield.
