Mrs. G's Weekly Challenges

Welcome to Mrs. G’s Weekly Challenges!

We are so glad you have chosen to join us for these weekly opportunities designed to spread cheer and positivity to members in our local Charlottesville/Albemarle community. As you complete these challenges, be sure to send photos of your/your child's work to Mrs. Gearhart at sgearhart@stab.org so she can post the images on this page (you are welcome to include yourself/your child in the picture).

To begin, please watch the welcome video and challenge videos to learn more about our overall programming as well as our initiatives. Be sure to check back in each Sunday evening to learn about the challenge for the upcoming week.

Thank you for participating, friends. I cannot wait to see your beautiful ideas and messages!

Introduction

Weekly Challenges

For our final challenge, let's celebrate the graduating Class of 2020! Draw a picture, write a note, or send some encouraging words to congratulate our senior class.

During Week 7, we used art to show off your favorite things about your time at St. Anne's-Belfield School!

During Week 6, we wrote positive messages and created pieces of art for those in our community who may be alone right now so they know they are not forgotten.

For Week 5, we went on a secret quest to make our teachers feel appreciated on National Teacher Appreciation Day by writing and mailing letters!

During Week 4, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of Earth Day through activities while enjoying and honoring nature.

During Week 3, we expressed our appreciation and support for professionals in our community leaving the safety of their homes for others, such as mail carriers and sanitation workers.

During Week 2, we shared positivity and further enhanced the beauty of your neighborhoods through chalk messages, words, and pictures!

During Week 1, we expressed our appreciation for our medical professionals through messages of gratitude and optimism using any art medium.
