Middlebury Online Resources

Students in many of our Level 1-3 classes will practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing the language through an online platform called Middlebury Interactive. These activities will provide students with increased exposure to the target language outside of the classroom, which is ideal for foreign language acquisition. In lieu of a language textbook, families will need to purchase a virtual seat for this program. Since this program is designed to have new lessons open only after completion of the previous lesson, it is imperative that families purchase their seat before the first day of class. Therefore, we are requiring that families please purchase a seat by August 20th. Usernames and passwords will be distributed at the start of classes for all students who have paid for the seat. Seat licenses cannot be shared among students, and this program is only available to current St. Anne’s-Belfield Students.

Please note that some courses do require additional short novels, which can be purchased through the school’s online bookstore, MBS Direct. If you have questions, please direct them to Anne Wendling, chair of the upper school world language department.

Upon completion of the form, you will be redirected to the Community page.
