Introducing the Next Head of School

On Oct. 28, 2019, the Board of Trustees announced the appointment of Dr. Autumn A. Graves as the next Head of School of St. Anne's-Belfield, effective July 1, 2020.

Dr. Graves joins the School from Girls Preparatory School in Chattanooga, Tenn., where she has been Head of School since 2014. The Board of Trustees is excited about Dr Graves' experience, thoughtfulness, and passion for educating children. They unanimously believe she is the right choice to lead St. Anne's-Belfield and to continue to build on the School's national reputation for academic excellence.

In June 2019, Head of School David Lourie announced that he will become the next Head of Collegiate School in New York City, resigning from his post at St. Anne's-Belfield School in July 2020.
