Chief Development Officer

St. Anne’s-Belfield seeks a visionary and strategic Chief Development Officer (CDO) to strengthen and expand its fundraising efforts in support of new strategic priorities and preparation for a multimillion-dollar comprehensive campaign. Reporting to the Head of the School and in close partnership with the senior leadership team and the Board of Trustees, the CDO will develop a strategic plan for philanthropy to maximize philanthropic potential and engage and inspire alumni, families, and donors to invest in the School and deepen their commitment to the community. The Chief Development Officer will assist with building and managing the Head of the School’s portfolio, as well as recruiting and staffing the Board of Trustees and its Development Committee.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of development and campaign management experience. Prior independent school fundraising experience is preferred.

Early Childhood Fellowships

St. Anne's-Belfield School is seeking two talented, recent college graduates to join our Early Childhood Fellowship Program. These future educators believe that having great teachers at the youngest ages is essential to preparing students to become engaged citizens and visionary leaders. During this two-year program, Fellows receive support for earning their master of education degree at UVA School of Education and Human Development while gaining immersive experience as full-time teaching assistants at St. Anne's-Belfield School.
