Activities

To complement the learning that takes place in our classrooms, we schedule daily physical activity each weekday as well as weekend excursions designed to culturally enrich and entertain students. Weekday activities take place after the last class of the day on campus and at other locations in the Charlottesville area. These activities include swimming, soccer, tennis, and other team games geared to foster lifelong fitness and teamwork. Weekend activities take students off campus to experience other adventures offered by the beautiful state of Virginia. These activities include trips to Monticello (the home of Thomas Jefferson), amusement parks, local outdoor attractions, performances, as well as a culminating weekend trip to Washington, D.C. to see some of our nation’s most noteworthy memorials, museums, and government buildings.
