Grades K – 8 Uniform Dress Code Requirements

  • All students are required to wear clothing in the same visual style to items that appear on the School’s Lands’ End website, and they may do so in any combination that they choose.
    • Students are not required to have any particular items, and are not required to have all of these items.
    • You may elect to have Lands' End print the School's logo on many of the items that you purchase, but doing so is not a requirement.
    • You may elect to purchase from a store other than Lands' End, but must use clothing that appears on the School's Lands' End site as a visual guide for both style/cut and color. No logos or other marks, other than the School's logo, may be visible.
  • Please make sure to clearly label all items!
  • Leggings and tights must be solid and School colors only: maroon, white, black, or gray. In addition, leggings may not be worn alone. They should be worn under a uniform skirt or shorts.
  • In Grades K – 4, socks must also be one of the School colors (maroon, white, black, or gray).
  • Skirts and dresses cannot be more than four inches above the knee.
  • K – 6 students do not change clothes for PE. Cartwheel shorts are recommended under skirts and jumpers.
  • Students may only wear sweatshirts, fleeces, and sweaters in solid colors in maroon, white, black, or gray or those with "St. Anne's-Belfield" or "Saints" in writing.
  • Jackets and outerwear may be any variety, but such attire may not be worn inside buildings during the school day. 
  • Students in Grades K – 6 should wear athletic shoes or sneakers to school each day for participation in recess and PE.
  • Grades 7 and 8 students may wear sneakers or boots. All shoes should be closed toe and have backs.
  • Pre-School – Grade 8 students may not wear sandals, flip-flops, crocs, or shoes with wheels.
  • Pre-School students do not wear the School uniform.

Monthly Spirit Days

On Kindergarten – Grade 8 monthly spirit days, students may wear school spirit tops (maroon and white t-shirts and sweatshirts) with shorts, leggings, sweatpants or jeans that are in good condition without holes or tears. K – 8 monthly spirit days are the first Thursday of every month, unless otherwise announced.

Dress Down / Spirit Days

On Dress Down and School Spirit days, students should adhere to guidelines regarding footwear, skirt or short length. Clothing should cover the midriff, and tank top straps should be a minimum of 3” inches in width.


Ways to Purchase Uniforms

Lands' End custom website for St. Anne's-Belfield School provides an interface to browse and purchase clothing items that have been approved by the School.

  • Students may wear hooded or non-hooded sweatshirts, fleeces, and sweaters in solid colors in maroon, white, black, or gray or those with “St. Anne’s-Belfield” or “Saints” in writing. 
  • Outer layers with non-School logos are not permitted indoors.
  • Hats may not be worn inside buildings. If wearing a hooded sweatshirt or jacket, students may not wear the hood on their head inside buildings.
  • Students in Grades K – 6 should wear athletic shoes or sneakers to school each day for participation in recess and PE. Grades 7 & 8 students may wear sneakers or boots. All shoes must be closed toe and have backs. Age 2 – Grade 8 students may not wear sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, or shoes with wheels.

Dress down and spirit days: 

Kindergarten – Grade 8 dress Spirit Days are the first Thursday of every month, unless otherwise announced. On these days and on dress down days, students should adhere to guidelines regarding footwear, skirt or short length. Clothing should be in good condition without holes or tears, cover the midriff, and tank top straps should be a minimum of 3 inches in width.

The Parents' Association (PA) operates Saints’ Closet, a gently-used uniform sale in late summer and throughout the school year. 

  • The Saints' Closet Back-to-School Extravaganza will be from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Aug. 16 – 18, 2024 at the Conway Convocation Center (CCC) on the Belfield Campus (see map).
  • The following are the Pop-Up Sales for the 2024-25 school year:
    • Saturday, Oct. 19 (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.)

    • Saturday, Dec. 7 (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.)

    • Saturday, March 22 (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.)

    • Saturday, April 12 (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.)

  • Donations and consignments are being accepted in the gray bin in divisional offices through July 31. Washed items are appreciated! Please include this form with drop offs. 
    • Items donated (not consigned) return 100% of proceeds to the Parents’ Association to support its programming and initiatives.
    • The PA will pay out at 30% of the sale price upfront for all “very good condition” consignment designated items.
