K – Grade 8 Saints After School (SAS)
Saints After School (SAS) at St. Anne’s-Belfield provides a supportive and engaging supervised environment for K – 8 students. Our teachers are experienced and enthusiastic about working with children. The program includes outdoor play, snack, indoor individual activities, and homework time for older students.
- SAS will be operational the first day of school and each day thereafter on which regular classes meet.
- SAS operates daily from 2:45 p.m. (for Middle School) and 3:15 p.m. (for Lower School) to 5:30 p.m.
- You may sign up on an annual basis, recurring weekly drop in, or occasional day-of drop in (space permitting).

How To Sign Up
Scheduling is based on your selections at the time you enrolled/re-enrolled to the School:
- Annual contract. If you selected an annual contract or are an employee of the school, your child will be reserved a spot for each day at SAS.
- Recurring weekly drop in. If you selected you would like to pay at the drop-in rate of $30/day per child and you would like to set up a recurring weekly schedule, please contact SAS@stab.org in late July or first week of August to have your child added to the weekly roster.
- Occasional or day-of drop in (space permitting). If you selected you would like to pay at the drop-in rate of $30/day per child and would like to set up an occasional or day-of drop in at any point during the year, please contact SAS@stab.org as much in advance as possible as attendance numbers change daily and spots may not be available.
Please ensure that your child’s homeroom teacher or advisor knows their dismissal plan for the day and communicate with them if changes occur.
Billing
Families who are new to the School should reach out to SAS@stab.org to make sure their billing account is set up before the start of school.
Returning after school care families already have accounts.
Veracross serves as our internal billing and attendance system. Those on an annual contract are billed with tuition. The drop-in rate is $30 per day per child, and invoices are sent on the Monday following attendance.
Daily Schedule
2:45 – 4:15 p.m. Arrival and outdoor play. At the end of the school day, students are dismissed from their homeroom/advisory and guided or directed to SAS. Times vary by division and athletic participation for Grades 7 & 8 students. SAS has distinct K – 4 and 5 – 8 play spaces in addition to a shared group basketball court and playground structure.
4:15 – 4:30 p.m. Snack provided by the School (fruit and a grain).
4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Our group separates into K – 4 and 5 – 8 for individual indoor play choice and homework time.
Dismissal
Authorized adults may pick up students anytime between 2:45 and 5:30 p.m. Last call for dismissal is at 5:30 p.m. — past that, a charge of $1/minute will apply.
We use PikMyKid for dismissal facilitation.
