Half a century ago, two schools believed in the potential to create something extraordinary together. This powerful idea took root, creating the St. Anne's-Belfield we know and love today.
Fall 2024 Newsletter
Dear St. Anne's-Belfield Alumni,
Greetings from the Greenway Rise Campus! The 2024-25 school year is off to a great start. As students settle into new classrooms and routines, the campus is imbued with the vibrant energy that captures the essence of the St. Anne’s-Belfield experience.
I am excited to share upcoming engagement opportunities celebrating you! This fall and winter we will continue our year-long Semicentennial Celebration with Saints on the Road (details in our spotlight below). We will also celebrate our community's annual giving program, The Fund for St. Anne's-Belfield during Saintsgiving on Tuesday, Nov. 19, so be sure to save the date. We are delighted that Ian Buchanan '16 will serve as the Alumni Chair of the Annual Giving Committee.
Looking ahead to spring, Alumni Weekend 2025 will be held Friday, April 4 through Sunday, April 6. As part of the celebration, the inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame Induction will take place that Saturday, April 5. To learn more about this new opportunity to celebrate outstanding members of our athletic community and to submit your nominations by the October 1 deadline, please visit the website here.
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our alumni volunteers for the many ways you give back to our School. In particular, I wish to thank our Alumni Board, who generously give their time to reconnect alumni with one other and with the school. A special thanks to Sally Mott Freeman '72 and Kem McCoid Roth '84 who have completed their terms on the Board. Their many years of service have made a lasting impact on the School community. I am also delighted to welcome our newest Alumni Board members: Blair Corbin '11, Peter Dudley '14, Allie Hartwig '16, Shelby LaMar '92, Michael Lyster '83 (welcome back!), and Jack Meissner '15. I look forward to the diverse perspectives and valuable contributions they will bring to our continued efforts.

Kem McCoid Roth '84
"I give to St. Anne’s-Belfield as a way to repay what I receive from the school. The St. Anne’s community is a daily part of my life 40 years after graduation, whether it is connecting with a school friend, remembering lessons taught to me by a favorite teacher, or being back on campus and meeting current students, parents and alumni. I am still learning from the school and the people I meet through it every day. When I was graduating from St. Anne’s, my father told me that even if I could only afford to give a dollar, that dollar would help my school. St Anne’s is at the top of my list of charitable donations every year."

"It is very important to me to donate significantly to St. Anne's-Belfield because I am so grateful that I was able to attend the four years of high school there. I loved the school, my classes, my teachers, and my classmates, and I was always aware that I was getting a good education. I was accepted at every college I applied to and ended up going to Bryn Mawr College (which is certainly not an easy school to get into!) Going to a really good school is an incredible blessing and one that I hope to help pass on to others."
