Summer Athletic Development Program Serves 136 Students

The 2019 Summer Athletic Development Program has come to an end, and team members Chad Powlovich, director of athletic development, Alli Wilkie, associate director of athletic development, and intern Jessie Swink would like to thank all participating student-athletes and families for another successful summer. A total of 136 different athletes worked out this summer, with 63 from the Learning Village Grades 5 - 8 and the other 73 from the Upper School.

Each athlete performed a variety of activities during every training session, including:

  • Myofacial release work;
  • Dynamic warm-up;
  • Speed, agility, and quickness work;
  • Various plyometric drills;
  • Age-appropriate strength training;
  • On-field conditioning;
  • Post workout cool-down and stretch.

“All participants should be proud of their dedication and the improvements they made over the last ten weeks,” said Coach Powlovich. “We’re look forward to a great school year with everyone!”
