Waldrop '76 Exhibiting Paintings in Gordonsville Gallery

Artist Annie Waldrop '76 recently opened an exhibition of her paintings in the Annie Gould Gallery in Gordonsville, Va.
Waldrop is a contemporary multimedia artist living and working in Roanoke, Va. She currently focuses on combining a variety of mediums, including sculpture and painting, into ideas surrounding Buddhist philosophy and Dharma teachings. She has previously exhibited work up and down the east coast, including a recent major solo exhibition at the Turchin Center at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C.
Waldrop is scheduled to have a solo exhibition at the Hunt Gallery at Mary Baldwin University in 2022.
Waldrop majored in sculpture at Virginia Commonwealth University prior to studying at the Parson's School of Design in New York and the Maryland institute College of Art.
