Cory '16 & Robertson '16 Named Princeton Lacrosse Team Captains

St. Anne's-Belfield School alumni Annie Cory '16 and Phillip Robertson '16 have been named captains of their respective lacrosse teams at Princeton University for the upcoming spring season. 

Team MVP and two-time team captain at St. Anne's-Belfield, Cory was a part of two Girls' Varsity Lacrosse LIS Championship teams in addition to multiple state tournament appearances throughout her five-year varsity career. She finished her time at the School with 294 goals and 70 assists, as well as all-league, all-region, all-state, and all-American honors. During her tenure as a Princeton Tiger, Cory has played in 37 games scoring 21 goals.

While a Saint, Robertson was a two-time team captain and top scorer, leading the Boys' Varsity Lacrosse team to two VPL Championships and a VISAA State Championship title, where he was honored as the MVP. He was also recognized at the all-league, all-state, and all-American levels over his three-year varsity career. At Princeton, Robertson led the nation in shooting percentage in 2018 and brings 54 career goals into his senior year.

Both teams start their 2020 season on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020 - good luck, Annie and Phillip!
