St. Anne's-Belfield School Hosting Children's Author/Illustrator Jarrett Krosoczka with Virginia Festival of the Book 

Charlottesville, Va., March 18, 2019 - On Wednesday, March 20, St. Anne's-Belfield School will host children's author Jarrett Krosoczka as part of the 2019 Virginia Festival of the Book.
 
Krosoczka, author of Hey, Kiddo, is a New York Times bestselling author/illustrator with more than thirty published books to his credit. He is a two-time winner of the Children's Choice Book Awards Third to Fourth Grade Book of the Year and has been a Will Eisner Comic Industry Award finalist. Krosoczka also founded School Lunch Hero Day, Platypus Police Reading Squad, and the Joseph and Shirley Krosoczka Memorial Youth Scholarships. He was also a finalist for the 2018 National Book Award for Young People's Literature.
 
In this multi-school assembly, Krosoczka will discuss his life and work with elementary school students from invited public and private schools in the region.
