St. Anne's-Belfield School Hosting Wearable Art Fashion Show Jan. 12 & 13

 

Charlottesville, Va., Jan. 4, 2019 – St. Anne's-Belfield School will host its annual Arts Concert and Wearable Art Runway Show at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12 in the Student Activity Center of the Greenway Rise Campus (2132 Ivy Road). An encore presentation of the runway show will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13.

 

This year's event will feature the theme of "World Mythologies" and highlight world mythology-themed creations designed and modeled by students, and constructed from materials other than fabric. In the past, garments have been made from paint chips, egg cartons, even shopping bags. The Saturday evening event will also include performances by School choral and orchestral groups.

 

LOCATION: Student Activity Center, 2132 Ivy Road

DATE: Saturday, Jan. 12 and Sunday, Jan. 13

TIME: 7:00 p.m. (Jan. 12) and 2:00 p.m. (Jan. 13)

St. Anne's-Belfield School is a co-educational preschool through grade 12 day school of approximately 900 students and 150 faculty and staff, with a boarding program in grades nine through twelve.
