St. Anne's-Belfield School Names Jon Benick Varsity Baseball Head Coach

Charlottesville, Va., July 25, 2018 - St. Anne's-Belfield School announced today the appointment of Varsity Baseball Head Coach Jon Benick.

"Jon's combination of experience, leadership, and passion made him the perfect person to bring our program to the next level" said Athletics Director Dewayne Robinson.

Benick most recently served as the director of player development for Munger English Sports Management, and coached at both the collegiate and high school level prior to that. He was a ninth round selection in the 2001 MLB draft, and played professionally until 2006.

Benick is actually making a return to the School for the spring 2019 season, having worked with some of the current team members in addition to coaching under Allen Swanson in the spring of 2012.

St. Anne's-Belfield School is a co-educational preschool through grade 12 day school with a boarding program in grades nine through twelve.
