STAB Boys' Lacrosse Selected for Inaugural High School Nationals 

Charlottesville, Va., May 11, 2017 - The St. Anne's-Belfield School Varsity Boys' Lacrosse team has been selected to take part in the inaugural High School Lacrosse Nationals in Washington, D.C. over Memorial Day Weekend. Geico has been named the title sponsor of the event, which will bring together the best high school teams across the United States and Canada. Games will be televised on ESPNU and streamed on ESPN3.

 

"We're excited to have been selected for this tremendous honor," said Varsity Head Coach Bo Perriello. "This will be a great opportunity for our student-athletes to compete at this elite level and for our School and program to be afforded a national platform."

 

Eight teams will participate in this single-elimination tournament, with a total of seven games taking place at Catholic University's Cardinal Stadium. 

 

The Saints will make their debut at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 28 for the third quarterfinal, against St. Sebastian's Country Day School of Needham, Ma.

St. Anne's-Belfield School is a co-educational preschool through grade 12 day school of more than 900 students and 120 faculty and staff, with a boarding program in grades nine through twelve.
