Who We Are:
Saints Athletics Club is a dedicated parent-led organization focused on building excitement for athletics, school spirit, health and wellness efforts for students of all ages across both campuses. Our goal is to enhance every student's physical education journey at St. Anne's-Belfield, promoting Mary Hyde DuVal’s wish for students to be “strong in body.”
What We Do:
- Community Engagement: We foster community and school spirit by partnering in events such as Fall Family Fest, Spring Family Fest, homes games, Field Day and more. We are here to support the Upper School Student Life Committee in their endeavors.
- Financial Support: We raise funds, primarily through generosity of members, but also through the sale of spirit merchandise and concessions. All proceeds go to supporting the Athletics and Physical Education Departments' various needs, including purchasing equipment and supplies, funding facility enhancements, supplementing team gear and celebrating athletic achievements.
- Build Excitement: We encourage awareness around the benefits of athletics and fitness, including the positive impact it has on students' academic, social, and emotional development in addition to physical well-being.
- Volunteer Support: We partner with the Athletics and Physical Education Departments, Alumni and Advancement Offices to coordinate volunteer opportunities and provide hands-on support when suitable.
What We Have Done:
- Purchased branded tents and coolers to support student-athletes, teams, and show school spirit at events
- Provided new physical therapy recovery equipment for athletic trainers on both campuses
- Provided volunteers for the Athletics Hall of Fame Inaugural Induction Ceremony
- Helped celebrate state championship teams with funding for recognition gifts
- Sponsored guest speaker, Coach Tara Harrington, P. ’32, for parent programming
- Funded new storage equipment to help Athletics organize uniforms and gear
- Purchased protective field tarps to maintain the quality of the baseball field
- Equipped student sportscasters with new audio technology
- Raised over $3,400 from fall sweatshirt and spring t-shirt sales to support Athletics
- Offered concessions at numerous games and events across multiple fields
- Supported the creation of senior posters for each team and season
- Partnering with Upper School Student Life Committee, increased school spirit through game themes with coordinated swag
