Welcome to St. Anne’s-Belfield School!

With more than a century of success behind us, we are a nearly 900 student, independent day and boarding school located just down the street from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Our community includes students and families from 14 countries, and a global network of more than 3,800 alumni.

While our campuses are closed, we invite you to view our online materials, including a virtual visit below, videos, and more while considering St. Anne's-Belfield School for your family.

Virtual Visit

The above video provides a brief overview of our two campuses in Charlottesville, Va. To learn more about individual buildings and spaces, view our interactive Campus Maps page or our School's SmugMug account. Learn what typical days for our Saints look like here.

Our School community places primary emphasis on knowing and encouraging each student as an individual. Our curriculum encourages curiosity and diversity at all levels, and challenges each student from our Pre-School programs through Grade 12 to question, explore, invent, and create. As a School we model this process in our own curriculum, through signature programs and innovative offerings that set us apart from more typical preparatory studies.

"One thing that I admire about the community is how closely tied we are... I have been able to learn so much about other peoples' cultures and backgrounds and simply have had the chance to know them better. No matter what background or culture you come from, there is a place for you here." - Tyler Brown '22
