We will consider prospective students requesting an early decision on a rolling basis pending successful completion of the application.
1. Application/Family Information
Once you complete the demographic information online, you will receive an email containing a unique username and password which will allow you to access the Applicant Portal to complete the rest of the application.
2. Parent(s) Visit
We recommend a parent visit between September and February, which will include a personal tour of the school. You may also wish to attend one of our Upcoming Admission Events. Please call or email the Admission Office at (434) 296-5106 or firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule your visit.
3. Applicant Visit & Admission Testing
Pre-School Building applicants will be invited to visit in a small group setting. Two-Year-Old Program playgroups will be held Monday, Nov. 11 and Monday, Jan. 13, 2020 from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Pre-School and Junior Kindergarten playgroups will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12 and Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020 from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Individual visit days can also be arranged as needed. Grades 1 - 4 applicants will visit for a day of classes in their current grade with a student host. During their visit, the students will also be assessed.
Grades 5 - 8 applicants will visit for a day of classes in their current grade with a host student. We require standardized testing for all applicants. If the student has participated in a recent ERB, IOWA, or MAP test, this fulfills the testing requirement. Otherwise, we are able to provide low-stress in-house testing to assess the applicant.
Grades 9 - 12 day applicants will visit for a day of classes in their current grade with a host student. We require standardized testing for all applicants. We offer the SSAT test on our campus for your convenience on Oct. 19, Nov. 16, Dec. 14, Jan. 4, 2020, and Feb. 8, 2020. Our school code is 6310.
4. Transcript/School Records
We require a copy of your child’s current transcript/school records. Please use the Transcript Release Form to authorize the sharing of theses records.
5. Teacher & Administrator Recommendation Forms
We require recommendation forms to be completed. These forms can be accessed and emailed directly to teachers and administrators from our Applicant Portal.
6. Application Fee
There is no fee for day applicants. The application fee for domestic boarding students is $75, and international boarding students is $150. If the application creates any financial hardship, contact us at email@example.com about a waiver.
