Tailgate and Donate Silver Lining Blood Drive
The 2nd Annual Tailgate and Donate Silver Lining Blood Drive is scheduled for Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sponsored by the STAB Athletic Boosters, the event will be held at the Student Activity Center (SAC) on the Greenway Rise Campus.
Established in memory of Becky Silver, a STAB parent who passed away from leukemia in 2011, the Silver Lining Blood Drive aims to honor Becky through the collection of life-saving resources including blood and plasma.
Promising shorter lines and attempting bigger goals, the event’s organizers hope to achieve 200 donations over the course of the day. In addition to collecting blood, the event will feature a tailgate experience with Sunday football coverage, food and games.
