Upper School Life
The cliche "seeing is believing" certainly applies to our Upper School, as the activity of our students and teachers resonates throughout our hallways each day.
The busyness of the Upper School is purposeful and powerful. Our students run our assemblies, be they our weekly Morning Meetings or Community Forums; upper classmen deliver numerous Chapel homilies throughout the year; our Student Senate organizes school-wide and division-wide community events; and, of course, we have the energy our students devote to their studies and their commitments to the arts, athletics, and community service. Guiding the energy and efforts of our students is the best faculty available, whose passion and expertise in the classroom is matched by their tireless support of and devotion to their students. There is a palpable energy that flows between our students and their teachers, and these relationships are the glue of this division and what are most cited by our alumni as what set this educational experience apart from all others.
