It is hard to believe the year is winding down! The flowers are blooming and the preschool garden is about to burst through. A beautiful tree will be planted in honor of Arbor Day and the children are finishing up their science units about planting and eggs and farms -- it is a busy and exciting time of year.
A few dates to keep in mind:
May 10th: St. Jude's Trike-a-Thon -- the Pre-school has raised over $22,000 in their years of participation!
May 22: Rising Kindergarten Parent Orientation at 9 am in Lower School
May 24th, Teddy Bear Performance in gym at 11:30 for end of the year party.
May 24th: Last day of Lunch Bunch
May 29th: Last day of school
June 17th-July 26th: Pre-School and Rising Kindergarten Camp

As all the children excitedly talk about the snow that may come, just a reminder to make sure that your contact information on Veracross is accurate and that you check your emails and phone messages for any changes to school schedule.
If school is delayed by one hour, then there is no early morning drop off and school starts at 9 am.
If school is delayed by two hours, again there is no early morning drop off and school begins at 10 am.
Remember, no school this Monday, January 21st!

There's a lot of happiness and joy in the Pre-School as we start thinking about the holidays! We will celebrate the start of the holidays with our second annual Holiday Chapel which will be held at 11:30 on Thursday, December 20. Parents are welcome! The children will share some of the songs they have been learning in Music with Ms. Victoria in our final chapel of the year.
Please rememember to continue to support the Food Drive and Mama's Kitchen Club. Ms. Debby Lyle, music teacher in the middle and upper school will be taking donations of clothes, household items, shoes and toys up until the last day of classes, December 20th. Thanks in advance for your help with these important causes.
