Welcome to the Sandbox.

One of our most valued traditions is honoring our "sandbox kids" - those students who have attended St. Anne’s-Belfield School since their earliest years.

Serving as the first step on the educational journey through the St. Anne's-Belfield Lower School, our Pre-School and Junior Kindergarten programs are designed to emphasize emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development. With this foundation in place, our students are prepared for their progression through the Lower School and beyond. By the time they graduate, these students have benefitted from a rich curriculum and a meaningful connection to the greater school community.

A Unified Educational Experience
Our curriculum is designed to educate students from Pre-School through grade 12.

Facilities & Resource Areas
Our new, exciting space includes a library, commons area, art room and kitchen, spacious playground, and a gross motor playroom.

A Parent Partnership
Parents have access to an early education library, parent education courses, guest speakers, and more. We want your family to be involved with your child’s education. Our Pre-School is a valuable resource for issues related to your child’s earliest years in and out of school.

A Social Curriculum
We recognize that academic success stems from social and emotional strength. Tuition includes STEP classes for parents (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting). These classes focus on raising responsible, confident, and independent children and are a wonderful way to connect with other parents traveling the same path.

A weekly chapel service helps build and celebrate the Pre-School community while beginning a tradition that will follow the children through their years at St. Anne’s-Belfield School.
