Our campus locations on Ivy Road and Faulconer Drive are easily accessible to major roads including Rt. 250 and Rt. 64, and allow for easy access to our neighbor, the University of Virginia. Close proximity to world-class speakers, major cultural events and performances, and NCAA athletics allows our students to complement their classroom learning with an array of co-curricular opportunities. Our boarding students in particular benefit from being able to walk to attractions in Charlottesville, and enjoy weekend excursions around the city and region.

General Directions

The Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport is located 10 miles from St. Anne’s-Belfield on U.S. 29 north. St. Anne’s-Belfield is also serviced by the Byrd Airport in Richmond, Virginia, and the Washington, D.C. area airports including Dulles Airport, National Airport, and Baltimore-Washington International Airport. A taxi, limo, or rental car can bring you to campus.

To reach the school from Washington, D.C., take U.S. 29 south into Charlottesville and take U.S. 250 Bypass west. Follow the Bypass approximately 2 miles. For the Belfield Campus (Grades PS-8), exit on Route 601, turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp (the first right on the ramp), and follow Faulconer Drive to the Belfield Campus. To reach the Greenway Rise Campus (Grades 9-12), exit on U.S. 250 east (the third exit after entering the Bypass), follow U.S. 250 Business 0.8 miles, proceed through the stoplight, and the St. Anne’s-Belfield School Greenway Rise Campus is on the right.

To reach the school from Richmond, Virginia, take I-64 west to exit 118B. Follow U.S. 250 Bypass west 2.5 miles to U.S. 250 Business. For the Belfield Campus (Grades PS-8), turn left at the top of the ramp and take the next right, turn right again onto Old Ivy Road, and take the first left onto Faulconer Drive. Follow the signs to the Belfield Campus. To reach the Greenway Rise Campus (Grades 9-12), turn right at the top of the ramp, follow U.S. 250 Business 0.8 miles, proceed through the stoplight, and the St. Anne’s-Belfield School Greenway Rise Campus is on the right.

The Amtrak station is located in the historic district of downtown Charlottesville, just minutes from both of our campuses. A taxi can bring you to campus.
