STAB's Shellenberger Named No. 1-Ranked 2019 Lacrosse Recruit in Nation

Charlottesville, Va., September 22, 2016 – Connor Shellenberger ’19 was recently named the top recruit in the nation in the 2016 Young Gun Sophomore rankings (Class of 2019) published by Inside Lacrosse magazine.

Shellenberger, an attackman, was recognized by the magazine as more offensively polished than any other player in his class right now. In addition to playing for St. Anne’s-Belfield School, he was also selected as a member of the Under Armour D.C. Underclass team, and was an all-star selection at this summer’s Maverick Showtime Showcase.

"He is an great representative of the St. Anne’s-Belfield School community and emulates all we seek to represent in a St. Anne’s-Belfield Boys' Lacrosse player.”

Shellenberger has committed to Johns Hopkins University.
