St. Anne's-Belfield School Hosting A Cappella Fest on March 19

Charlottesville, Va., March 11, 2016 – St. Anne’s-Belfield School will host its eighth annual A Cappella Fest on Saturday, March 19. Students from St. Anne’s-Belfield School, Albemarle High School, and Culpeper County High School will be joined by collegiate guest groups the Whiffenpoofs of Yale and Note-oriety of James Madison University for a day of mentoring and an evening performance.

“A Cappella Fest is a wonderful event which celebrates both a cappella music making and music's ability to bring people together,” says Rob Lane, Pre-School through grade twelve performing arts department chair at St. Anne’s-Belfield School.

“The high school students all get the opportunity to work directly with the college groups and the high school groups also get the opportunity to give each other feedback. It is not a competition, instead all of the groups work together and learn from each other to put on an exciting and entertaining concert.”

The evening performance has now sold out.
