Overview
A long-standing tradition of St. Anne’s-Belfield School has been our large and inclusive sports program.
We recognize the important balance between academics and athletics, and we believe strongly that regular exercise, development of skills, and interscholastic athletic competition play critical roles in each student’s growth. Our sports program does much to contribute to the development of our students’ good character and to enhance our overall school spirit. Our Middle School and junior varsity programs stress participation regardless of a student’s previous experience or level of talent. At the varsity level, we compete against other strong athletic programs.
St. Anne’s-Belfield School offers a co-educational interscholastic athletic program for students in grades 7-12. Fitness activities, including aerobic exercise and weight training, are also offered for students in grades 9-12.
St. Anne’s-Belfield School is home to excellent athletic facilities including three gymnasiums, five athletic fields, and six tennis courts. Recent additions include a 32,000 square-foot Athletic and Convocation Center, a Student Activities Center with locker rooms and indoor batting cages, a baseball field with locker rooms, a filming tower, public address system, concession stands and a state-of-the art FieldTurf facility.
