STAB Fab Fine Arts Boosters
St. Anne’s-Belfield Fine Arts Boosters (STAB Fab) is a parent organization dedicated to enriching the arts culture at St. Anne’s-Belfield School within all School divisions.
Members give both time and philanthropic support to the fine and performing arts at the School, from volunteering to help faculty with projects to working backstage at performances, from supporting classroom teachers to organizing fundraising events.
Each fall STAB Fab hosts the School’s hugely popular Fall Arts Dinner, Concert, and Wearable Arts Runway Show, an evening eagerly anticipated by the entire School community. STAB Fab also supports the School’s holiday Madrigal Dinner, and the spring A Cappella Fest bringing high school and collegiate singers together for a day of workshops and an evening of performances.
In recent years, STAB Fab has also brought local artists to the School to teach students new techniques, purchased new equipment including a pug mill to mix clay and a lightboard to enhance technical capabilities during performances, and funded the recording and production of CDs that promote the School’s award-winning A Cappella groups. Funds raised by STAB Fab have also been used to send students to competitions and provide a discretionary fund for the arts faculty. Most recently, STAB Fab support has helped bring Charlottesville sculptor John Rubino to campus to serve as the 2016 - 2017 artist-in-residence, and assisted in the creation and production of the Full Circle middle school opera featured in NAIS Independent School magazine.
STAB Fab’s efforts enhance the education experience at St. Anne’s-Belfield School for all students. Current School parents interested in becoming a member of the boosters may do so via online membership form.
